What are the causes of motor shaft wear?

Author:

Motor is an electromagnetic device that converts or transmits electric energy according to the law of electromagnetic induction. During its operation, shaft wear is a common fault. In general, the causes of motor shaft wear can be summarized as follows:

(1) Normal fatigue wear of metal is the inherent characteristic of metal itself;

(2) The problem of matching relationship: no matter how high the machining accuracy of parts is in the process of machining, it will never be able to achieve 100% matching of the mating surface of parts. From the microscopic perspective, the metal mating surface can only achieve 30% - 50%, so the small stress surface of the mating part is also one of the fundamental reasons for metal fatigue wear;

(3) Installation problem: during installation, the installation position of the bearing can not be well controlled or the bearing clearance can not be effectively controlled, resulting in the bearing not being in an optimal state during operation, and then the running resistance increases, the temperature rises, and the torque acts more on the mating surface, resulting in relative movement between the bearing inner race and the shaft surface, resulting in shaft wear.

(4) Operation and maintenance, including poor lubrication of bearings, high operating temperature caused by blockage of cooling system, looseness of fastening devices, etc.

L there are many repair technologies for motor shaft wear, and the repair effects are not the same. Compared with our commonly used repair welding machine processing and other repair technologies, Xiaobian recommends using soray carbon nano polymer material technology for repair, with the following advantages:

(1) Online repair can be realized, and high temperature will not be generated during the repair process, which can protect the equipment body from damage, and is not limited by the unilateral wear of the shaft during the repair process.

(2) The repair process is simple and easy to operate, without cumbersome repair steps and repair tools, which can not only reduce the labor intensity of workers and unsafe factors in construction, but also shorten the downtime.

(3) The comprehensive mechanical properties of the material are better than those of metal. It has good "yielding" and does not have metal fatigue wear characteristics and plastic deformation. Therefore, fatigue wear and fracture will not occur during long-term use. Therefore, it is ensured that there will be no gap between static mating surfaces due to fatigue wear during long-term operation of the equipment.
